Ohlone This
is the official website of the Muwekma Ohlone Indian Tribe with lots of
information about themselves. It contains many current events articles and
also has a picture gallery. The goal of it is to provide information about
the tribe and by doing so, they hope to obtain federal recognition.
Gabrielino/Tongva
The text and graphics for this site is
intended to present the history and culture of the Gabrielino/Tongva.
Their goals include achieving recognition of their people, cultural
recovery and renewal, be wise guardians of their lands and ancestral
remains. To the best of my knowledge, this site is made by the people of
the Gabrielino/Tongva.

of Indian Education, U.S. Department of Education. Under
Title IX of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA),
Indian Education programs are authorized to support the efforts of local
educational agencies, Indian tribes, and other entities to meet the
special educational and culturally related academic needs of American
